Blood

It seems like the people here at the Hospital are always needing blood, especially the babies. Most of the time one parent will have the right blood type but will have AIDS so they cannot donate blood to their baby. They want to know your blood type when you get here so when the need comes up they will know quickly who to go to.
I donated blood today, it was my first time. It was for an infant that needed it. I know without the blood the child would have died. It is a humbling experience to give blood. It is not our blood. It is God's blood. Without blood we cannot live. God donated blood. The blood He donated was for you and me so that we might live. Without the blood that God shed or donated we would not have life. Praise God that He is the universal donor. He has the right type of saving blood for every one of us.
